Recall Notice

General Motors is conducting a voluntary emission recall involving certain 2024 Chevrolet Blazer, Cadillac XT5, and Cadillac XT6 vehicles equipped with a 3.6L engine. The joint that connects the high-pressure fuel pump’s outlet pipe to the pump may not have been welded within specified tolerances, potentially affecting the long-term durability of the engine.

What to Do

Dealers should review IVH or the Dealer Maxis reports for open VINs in their inventory and replace the high-pressure fuel pump as per the service procedure in this bulletin. The repair will be performed at no charge to the customer.

Important Information

For California residents, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) requires vehicle emission recalls be completed prior to California registration renewal. At the time of emission recall completion, the dealer will issue a “Proof of Correction Certificate” to be presented to the Department of Motor Vehicles when renewing the California vehicle registration.
