This technical service bulletin provides information on the ECM software update for some 1.6L vehicles that may experience the following DTC: P2192 System too Rich at Higher Load (Bank1).
The update is applicable to 2012-2013 MY VELOSTER (FS) with 1.6L GDI Engine and DCT and 2012-2013MY ACCENT (RB) with 1.6L GDI Engine and AT.
The procedure involves updating the ECM software using the GDS, and requires resetting the DTC and performing a manual mode update in case of failure.
Ensure the battery icon on the GDS laptop shows at least 50% charge, and turn off all lights and accessories before updating the ECM software.
