Summary of Service Bulletin
This service bulletin is intended for qualified technicians to perform TCM Calibration Data Write procedures. The procedures are necessary when replacing a complete CVT assembly, a CVT control valve (valve body), or a Transmission Control Module (TCM). The bulletin applies to various Nissan models, including Altima Sedan (L33, L34), Juke (F15), Maxima (A36), and others.
Procedure Overview
The service procedure includes steps to write calibration data when replacing the TCM, CVT, or valve body. The procedure requires matching numbers on a calibration file disc with the new CVT or valve body and QR label. The disc is provided with the new CVT or valve body, and the procedure must be followed carefully to ensure accuracy.
Important Notes
– The service bulletin is intended for qualified technicians, not ‘do-it-yourselfers’.
– Make sure ASIST on the CONSULT PC is freshly synchronized to the current date and all C-IIl plus software updates are installed before starting the procedure.
