Aston Martin ECU Connection Tutorial
This tutorial explains how to connect AiM devices to Aston Martin ECU, specifically the Aston Martin Vantage N24 and 2009 models. The connection requires a bus communication protocol based on CAN on the OBDII plug, which is placed in the cockpit area.
Before connecting the ECU to AiM device, it’s essential to set up the device configuration using AiM Race Studio software. The available channels for the “Aston Martin” “CAN BUS” ECU are listed, including RPM, vehicle speed, wheel speeds, gear position, pedal position sensor, engine coolant temperature, and more. Please note that not all data channels are validated for each manufacturer model or variant, and some channels may be model and year specific.
Important Note
The outlined channels are not applicable to all models or variants, so verifying channel availability is necessary.
