About the TSX

The Acura TSX is a modern luxury vehicle that combines athleticism, clean aesthetics, and leading-edge technologies. It comes with a 201-hp in-line 4-cylinder or an available 280-hp V-6 engine, providing power and performance. The vehicle also features a race-derived suspension system, a firm grip, and a compliant ride.

About the Engine

The Acura engine is designed to produce more power than its specs suggest possible. The 2.4-liter i-VTEC in-line 4-cylinder engine features a highly intelligent variable valve-timing system, providing constant surge throughout the power band. The engine is also available with a V-6 for even bigger thrills. The engine’s all-aluminum construction and hollow camshafts keep it lighter, making it better for handling.

About the Transmission

The TSX offers two transmission options: a 5-speed automatic and a 6-speed manual transmission. The 5-speed automatic features cornering G shift control, which recognizes when the vehicle is in a curve and delays upshifting to avoid downshifting. The transmission also gives the option of fully automatic mode or a more hands-on approach using race-inspired paddle shifters.

The TSX is available in two models: the Sedan and the Sport Wagon. The Sport Wagon offers plenty of cargo space for gear and features a class-leading 30-mpg highway rating, adding to its performance credentials.
