This booklet contains important information on the NISSAN New Vehicle Warranty applicable to your vehicle.
What is Covered and for How Long
NISSAN warrants that any part or component of each new NISSAN vehicle found to be defective in materials or workmanship, will be repaired by an authorized NISSAN dealer for the warranty periods and on the conditions described herein.
Warranty Coverage
The warranty periods and coverage are as follows:
• Basic Coverage: 5 years/160,000 kms
• Powertrain: 5 years/160,000 kms
• Supplemental Restraint System (SRS): 5 years/100,000 kms
• Corrosion Surface: 5 years/160,000 kms
• Corrosion Perforation: 5 years/unlimited kms
• Emission Control: 5 years/60,000 kms
• Emission Performance: 5 years/60,000 kms
• Seat Belts: 10 years/unlimited
• Battery Original Equipment only: 5 years/160,000 kms
• Parts Replacement: 1 year/20,000 kms
Warranty Terms and Conditions
This warranty is generally transferable to subsequent owners of the vehicle at anytime ownership of the vehicle is transferred.
However, this warranty is not transferable but is instead void if during the first six months after delivery to the original Owner:
• the ownership of the vehicle is transferred from the original OWNER and
• the vehicle is registered outside of Canada.
