Use of fuels containing alcohol or other oxygenates may lead to drivability issues, starting problems, and unscheduled maintenance. Check with your authorized BMW dealer to determine if the fuel contains alcohol or other oxygenates.
Only use fuels advertised to have deposit control additives, which keep the intake and intake system clean. If such fuels are not available in your area, consult your authorized BMW dealer who can recommend a fuel additive that will provide sufficient detergency to ensure proper engine cleanliness.
