ASTON MARTIN is launching the DBX model, which brings new systems and components to the brand. This document provides important information about After Sales elements, including Technical Support, ePDR, Warranty, and PDI.

Technical Support

ASTON MARTIN provides technical support for DBX through SpotLight and AMtech help. Technicians should submit EPDRs within 24 hours of identifying a problem, including information about the problem, root cause, solution, and a photo.

Warranty and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI)

DBX vehicles will arrive at dealerships in “Transit Mode” and “Suspension Transit Mode”, which must be disabled in AMDS as part of the PDI process. Warranty claims should be submitted through DCS classic within 24 hours of finding a problem.

Software Updates, Quick Start Guide, Maintenance, and Support Documentation

DBX will require software updates, which will include the addition of Apple CarPlay and other software improvements. The Quick Start Guide is available in Technical Hub, along with maintenance and support documentation, including the Workshop Manual, Electrical Information Manual, and Parts Manual.

Important Maintenance Information

When handing over the vehicle to the customer, check how many miles they expect to do and book their first service accordingly. The service interval reminder on the DBX Instrument Cluster will illuminate at 10,000 miles, and the rear differential service intervals are mileage-based, not time-based.
