User Manual Overview

The Fingertip Pulse Oximeter is a standalone, reusable device used to measure functional arterial oxygen saturation (SpO2) and pulse rate of adult, pediatric, and adolescent patients in hospitals, hospital-type facilities, and at home.

Prior to Use

Please read the user manual carefully prior to operating the device. The oximeter is intended to be used in conjunction with clinical signs and symptoms and doctor’s diagnoses.

Installation and Maintenance

Install two AAA batteries into the battery cassette before closing the cover. The oximeter should be handled with care to avoid shocks and falls. Regular maintenance is not necessary, but disinfection can be done using a soft cloth dampened with 70% Isopropanol.

Operation and Troubleshooting

Press the function button once to enter the measuring mode. If the button cannot be pressed to its position, ensure it is fully depressed. Possible problems and resolutions are listed in the user manual.

Warranty and Disposal

The Fingertip Pulse Oximeter is designed to be used for five years. At the end of its life, follow local ordinances and recycling instructions regarding disposal and recycling of the device and device components including batteries.
