About the QX60 HYBRID

The 2014 INFINITI QX60 HYbrid uses two types of batteries: a 12V battery and a Lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery for the traction motor. The Li-ion battery is recharged through an on-board DCIDC converter and generator powered by the engine, and also through regenerative charging when the vehicle is decelerating or being driven downhill.
