Step-by-Step Installation Procedure:
Remove the covers and save them in the storage bag.
Install the J-hook bolts onto the brackets, ensuring the J-hook bolt opening is facing outward.
Place crossbar stanchions over J-hook bolts and ensure crossbars are in the correct position by designations on stanchions.
Tighten the bolts and ensure the crossbars are centered and the bolt is upright.
Assemble and install the Wedge Lock Washer and hand start and fasten a nut onto the bolt.
Torque the nuts to 15 N-m (11 ft-lb) and tighten only the left side Crossbar Attachment screw to specification.
Install covers onto the crossbar by inserting the fish hook end of the tether through the hole in the corresponding cover.
