Pre-Delivery Inspection
The Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) manual outlines the steps to ensure the vehicle is in a satisfactory condition before delivery to the customer.
Initial Checks
Ensure the vehicle has arrived in a sealed state and check the vehicle details. Record the battery voltage and connect an approved battery charger.
Perform a road test to check for any unusual noises or issues with the power train, suspension, and braking systems.
Quality Assurance Checks
Check for external leaks from power train components and ensure fault-free delivery to the customer.
Record the Locking wheel nut code and ensure the vehicle literature pack and security items are correct.
Vehicle Interior
Set clock, audio, and satellite navigation settings and test Bluetooth connectivity.
Vehicle Exterior
Check the operation of central locking and alarm systems and inspect road wheels and tyres for damage.
Remove external transit protection and ensure the exterior of the vehicle is clean and undamaged.
