Important Notes
Before installing the PERRIN Air Oil Separator (AOS), please read all instructions carefully and ensure you are familiar with the installation process.
The installation should only be performed by persons experienced with installation of aftermarket performance parts and proper operation of high-performance vehicles. Ensure the vehicle is raised off the ground properly to prevent serious injury or death.
Assembly of Air Oil Separator
The AOS is pre-assembled with an M6 bolt, nylon seal, 0-ring, and foam filter for packaging purposes. Ensure the bolt is hand-tightened before finishing installation to ensure an oil-tight seal.
Orientation of Fittings on Bottom and Body
Using the diagram provided and NPT fitting notes, install the 5/16″ Straight NPT fittings into the side ports on the bottom of the AOS and the 5/16″ 90-degree fitting into the bottom.
Coolant Inlet and Outlet
Using the diagram provided and NPT notes, install the 5/8″ 90-degree fitting into the port on the top of the AOS and the 1/2″ 90-degree fitting into the single side port on the AOS, ensuring they aim away from the body and are parallel to the bottom.
Initial Air Oil Separator Mounting
The supplied bracket mounts the AOS in a proper location for it to clear most commonly installed components. If a custom mounting location is required, ensure the oil drain port is higher than the engine port used for draining oil back into the engine and the AOS is mounted vertically.
