A Legacy of Innovation and Performance

Maserati’s rich history dates back to 1900, when Carlo Maserati designed his first single-cylinder engine and entered a race, winning the Brescia-Cremona-Mantua-Verona-Brescia rally.

A Tradition of Excellence

The Maserati brothers’ indomitable approach led to numerous victories, including the Indianapolis 500 in 1939 and 1940, making them the only European manufacturer to win the Indy 500 twice.

Maserati’s luxurious turn began in 1947 with the creation of the A6 1500, featuring Pininfarina coachwork, followed by the A6G Frua Spyder in 1950. In 1957, Juan Manuel Fangio won his fifth F1 World Championship in a Maserati 250F.
