The purpose of this bulletin is to address transmission software enhancements and calibration issues on 2016 and 2017 model year LX 570 vehicles.
Symptoms:
Harsh shift on hard acceleration, running out of fuel, delayed or harsh transmission engagement, and shift shock in Ist to Znd gear at low water temperature.
Repair Procedure:
Check for authorized modifications labels and calibration ID, reprogram the ECM (PCM) using Techstream, initialize the transmission, and perform transmission initialization and testing.
Note:
Initialization (Reset Memory) MUST be completed for proper vehicle operation.
