Porsche Service 2 148/21ENU AMCO Technical Information: AMCO Re-Programming DME and Transmission Control Unit (Recall Campaign) for 911 (991) and Boxster/Cayman (981) Models from 2012 to 2016

The recall campaign is intended to address increased exhaust emissions under certain driving conditions in Sport+ mode on the 911 (991 I) Basic/S/GTS and Boxster/Cayman Basic/S (981) models.

Action Required:

Re-program the DME control unit and transmission control unit using the PIWIS Tester with software version 40.795.100 (or higher) installed.

Work Procedure:

Re-program the DME control unit and transmission control unit using the PIWIS Tester.

The programming sequence takes approximately 15 minutes.
