The Cadillac ATS-V and CTS-V 2016 model year vehicles come equipped with various performance features, including Driver Mode Control, Performance Traction Management, and Launch Control. The Personalization Guide provides an overview of these features and how to use them.
Driver Mode Control
The Driver Mode Control system allows for the selection of four different modes: Tour, Sport, Track, and Snow/Ice. Each mode adjusts various vehicle controls, such as throttle progression, to provide a unique driving experience.
Performance Traction Management
Performance Traction Management (PTM) is a traction, stability, and chassis control system that can be accessed through the Track mode. PTM offers five different modes: Off, WET, DRY, SPORT, and RACE. These modes adjust the traction control and stability control to provide the desired level of performance.
Launch Control
Launch Control is a form of traction control that helps achieve high levels of vehicle acceleration in a straight line. It is intended for use during closed-course racing events and can be activated when the vehicle is in Track mode and any of the five PTM modes are selected.
Optional Equipment
The Cadillac ATS-V and CTS-V 2016 models also offer optional equipment, including the Performance Data Recorder, Recaro Performance Seats, and Front CurbView Camera. The Performance Data Recorder enables the recording of high-definition video and vehicle performance data, while the Recaro Performance Seats provide adjustable bolsters for improved support and comfort. The Front CurbView Camera provides a view of the area in front of the vehicle to aid with parking and low-speed maneuvering.
