Ferrari 458 Italia/Spider, 488 GTB/Spider, FF, F12 Berlinetta Technical Information: All Replacement of Steering Wheel Control Panel Components

This technical information supersedes the previous TI 2142 of December 2013 and provides instructions for replacing the steering wheel control panel components for the 458 Italia/Spider, 488 GTB/Spider, FF, and F12 Berlinetta models.

Important notes:

• Work on a grounded anti-static mat, wearing anti-static gloves or an anti-static wrist band.
• Disconnect the battery, and carefully remove the steering wheel control panel to prevent damage.

Procedure

Disconnect the battery, remove the steering wheel control panel, and lay it on a flat, soft surface.

Step-by-Step Disassembly

Disconnect the connectors, release the ribbon cables, and detach the main shell. Carefully disconnect the windscreen wiper switch, high beam lights switch, and Manettino rotary selector connectors. Finally, remove the NVO circuit board.
