RDF Temperature Controller Overview
The RDF temperature controller is designed to allow you to easily set the room temperature you want. You have two choices: rely on the factory settings or make adjustments that suit your individual needs.
The controller features a display that shows the actual room temperature, as well as a setpoint display that shows the new setpoint temperature. You can adjust the setpoint temperature using the “+” and “-” buttons, in steps of 0.5°C.
Operating Modes
The controller has several operating modes, including heating, cooling, automatic changeover, and standby. You can change between these modes using the operating mode selector.
In standby mode, the controller maintains the adjusted lower setpoint for heating and higher setpoint for cooling.
Setpoint Adjustments
You can adjust the setpoint temperature using the “+” and “-” buttons. The display will show normal operation, and the fan will operate at a selected speed.
If you want to change the factory-set temperature setpoints, you can follow the procedure described under “Changing the Control Parameters”.
Commissioning and Calibration
The controller has a number of parameters that can be adjusted or recalibrated, depending on your needs. These parameters include setpoint limitations, heat-cool changeover switching points, and sensor calibration.
To commission or recalibrate the controller, you will need to enter the corresponding menu using the operating mode selector and setpoint buttons.
Risk of Frost
The controller has a risk of frost output, which can be configured in the energy saving mode.
This output allows you to purge the system before activating the heating or cooling mode.
