RLC Electronics’ Broadband Directional Couplers offer high directivity and flat coupling over the 2 to 18 GHz band. They are designed to meet stringent specifications and are suitable for applications where ultimate performance is required.
Frequency Range and Specifications
The couplers are available in a range of frequencies from 0.25 to 18 GHz, with directivities from 15 to 25 dB and VSWRs from 1.15 to 1.50. The typical operating curves show amplitude deviation and coupling loss vs. frequency, as well as directivity vs. frequency.
Connector Type and Power Handling
The couplers have an SMA female connector type and can handle power levels of up to 50 watts average, with a peak power of 3 kW.
Operating Temperature and Environment
The couplers operate in a temperature range of -55°C to +85°C and meet the MIL-E-5400, Class IA environmental standard.
Tolerances and Packaging
The couplers have tolerances of ±0.02, ±0.05, and ±0.1, and are packaged with an outline drawing and a mounting diagram.
