Important Information

Please read this introduction carefully and understand that a professional mechanic is required to complete this installation. It’s also recommended to have a factory service manual for your vehicle to assist with disassembly and reassembly.

Pre-Installation Check

Before starting the installation, inspect the vehicle’s steering and driveline systems, including tie rod ends, ball joints, wheel bearing preload, pitman and idler arm, and suspension-to-frame attaching points for stress cracks. The overall vehicle must be in excellent working condition.

Installation Steps

The installation process is detailed and requires the removal of several components, including the skid plate, sway bar end links, ABS lines, and strut mounting bolts. It’s essential to follow the instructions carefully and study the illustrations before attempting installation.

Special Equipment and Precautions

Safety glasses, a fire extinguisher, and caution when cutting are recommended. Apply thread lock retaining compound where specified, and note that some parts may be difficult to install due to variations in construction and assembly.
