Product Safety Recall
This bulletin has been revised to update the service procedure for rear view camera intermittent or inoperative issue on certain 2020-2021 model year Cadillac XTS, XT6, and GMC Acadia vehicles equipped with the optional Surround Vision feature.
Service Procedure
The rear view camera may fail or function intermittently, reducing rear visibility and increasing the risk of a crash during backing events. Dealers will replace the affected coaxial cables.
Important: Due to limited initial parts availability, dealers are encouraged not to order these parts for use as shelf stock. Warranty information, labor, and parts are provided for the repair.
Working Capital Assistance Program (WCAP) Reimbursement is available for used inventory only, with a daily value calculated for the days the vehicle was in used dealer inventory and not available for sale.
