This service campaign aims to prevent water infiltration through the door wiring area of certain Maserati MC2O (M24O) vehicles listed in ModisCst. The issue arises from a poor coupling between the aluminium bracket of the door connector and the carbon fiber of the monocoque body.

A new coupling has been implemented in later production vehicles to prevent water infiltration. The affected vehicles need to undergo a procedure to seal the DTB (Door to Body) connectors inside the front wheel arches.

The procedure involves:

Step 1: Removing the RH and LH front wheel arch rear guards.
Step 2: Disconnecting the battery and placing the car on a lift.
Step 3: Applying approved sealants around the perimeter of the DTB connectors.
Step 4: Refitting the wheel arch rear guards and reconnecting the battery.
Step 5: Performing a functional test of the door and door-related components.

The service campaign is designed to prevent water pooling in a hollow section of the monocoque body, which could cause a sloshing noise while driving.

Note: Specialized sealants and glue must be purchased locally and claimed using warranty code PN 980157115.
