Important Update for Emira Service Schedule Sheets
A new operation has been added to the service schedule sheets for the Lotus Emira V6 and 4-Cylinder models to remove debris around the wheel speed sensors and magnetic rings.
Reason: Dirt and debris can accumulate around the wheel speed sensors and magnetic rings, affecting the signal transmission to the ABS module, resulting in diagnostic trouble codes and the MIL light being activated.
The new procedure involves using an airline to remove loose debris, inspecting and cleaning the wheel speed sensors with a cloth and brake cleaner, and cleaning the magnetic rings. This must be done at every service interval.
