Pre-Installation Checks

Tools and Parts Needed
The customer will need the Airaid Intake System p/n 200-126-1 for the 2002-05 Chevrolet/GMC models, as well as the following tools and parts: 1Omm socket, 4mm socket, 5/32″ Allen Wrench, AIR-KITS86PA Aluminum Plate, AIR-KITS86H Hardware, and 6mm x 25mm Flat Head Screws.
Installation Procedure
The installation procedure consists of the following steps:
- Disconnect the negative battery cable
- Remove the throttle body air intake system
- Install the spacer using 4 x 6mm x 60mm bolts and 6mm flat washers
- Install 2 x extension plates using 2 x 6mm flat head screws
- Inspect and test the throttle linkage for full open and closed travel before driving
- Reinstall the air intake system
- Reconnect the battery cable
Important Notes
Mav require adjustment or kickdown cables. Please refer to Your vehicle’s service manual for proper adjustment.
